If some team wants to overpay for Tulloch, that's fine with me. He is a very average player in almost all respects.

As much as I like Tulloch, you're right. He is average in almost everything, other than tackling.

Below average in coverage & height.
Average in speed and every other LB specs.
    Above average in tackling.

Is that worth the 30+ mil he probably wants. Probably not. I think I'd rather have Rennie Curran, Witherspoon, McRath, Ayers, and McCarthy all fighting for the three spots.. for much cheaper (lol)

My thoughts exactly. I think we'd be fine with letting Tulloch go and going with those 5. Just out of curiosity, who do you think is our best coverage LB? Who's the fastest?

At least with playing Curran, you know he'll be there. He's happy just having food in his fridge, he's a humble guy I'd like to see get more PT. Let Tully go, he's not that good. And won't get any better.

Pretty presumptive that yet another bumbling "Britt Arrested Again" headline doesn't make it's way to The Tennessean in the next two months.
If Munch wants to show who's the damn boss out the gate he may very well make an example of the class dunce.

Best coverage: none are great, but I'd say Will Witherspoon.
    Best speed: Gerald McRath

Leron McClain. He's more than capable of pulling double duty as a lead fullback and a short yardage back.

I hope he does. Kenny may get a pass from fans, but if I were running that team, he'd be sitting week-1. Send the right message Munch! Everyone needs to be held accountable, no excuses. It'll go a long ways, maybe no more dumb penalties if everyone knows they're under close scrutiny.

What is your definition of being "let go"? Dallas didn't let go of Sensebaugh he is simply a free agent with no contract.

What knot head would think that a guy with 10 passes defended and 5 ints wouldn't be worth looking at? He is a mid career guy who has some attributes.

Unless a player just doesn't fit what we want to do or because of a bad attitude or lack of effort he can hurt the team i don't think we should be dumping ANY player who might at least have some backup value.

Certainly we should not be releasing guys just because of money they already went the cheap route with their head coaching hire. It's not like we had a high payroll already.

Why take away starting caliber players like Hope. Brown or Tulloch? History tells us we are not going to spend big to get somebody better. I want to add to this team not take guys away.

There is a new sheriff in town and guys know they have to step their game up so let the coaching staff decide who is working hard or not and who fits in our not.
