Combine Thread

I noticed he's soaring up, just 3 weeks ago everyone was thinking the 4th for him. I was kinda hoping no one world notice him so we could snatch him up

I took some time out yesterday to watch the available tape on the top safety prospects and Cyprien really stood out as easily the best/most complete prospect. As I'm sure no one will remember I was a big fan of Matt Elam earlier this year and I still am but Cyprien is a more dynamic hitter and surer tackler than Elam. He also shows the skill in coverage and ball skills that Elam lacks. Take like 10 minutes and watch his tape against Louisville and FAU on youtube. I'm sure many will disagree but I ranked the safeties as follows:


Johnathan Cyprien
DJ Swearinger
Matt Elam
Bacarri Rambo
Eric Reid
Kenny Vaccaro

It shocked me that I ended up ranking Vacarro last but that's just how things worked out. I still think he's a great prospect and would be more than happy with any of these guys.

i would be pumped if we somehow traded griff and got vaccaro and elam/reid too but i'd settle with vaccaro in the first
