Why is it that only Ringer has holes?

Difference is: Ringer actually hits the holes while they're there. That's how he gets to the 2nd level.

CJ waits til the holes are closed.

Ringer can certainly hit the holes better. Not even arguable.

Ringer won the starting job today, no ifs or buts about it

they still ran it like they always do. i would have been right if cj was in.

Positives: We haven't turned over the football, one penalty all game (which was a BS chop block call on CJ) and the receivers looked better (albeit the Colts, their biggest problems have been self inflicted - incorrect routes & drops).

Negatives: The run game didn't look any better vs. the lonely Colts. Don't let these garbage yards fool you. Also, the soft zone in the second half was dumb. Still no pressure up the middle.

Does this mean Ringer will want 31 million guaranteed?

You are going to start seeing more of the same IMO....Ringer and CJ splitting play. Ringer gets the tough yards and is a better pass receiver IMO. CJ is not getting big enough holes to make his plays, but it appears Ringer can get yards (not HRs, but positive yards) with the same holes.

If O Line play improves we may see more of CJ, but for now I think they split time.
