To be fair to Auburn they were an 8-4 SEC team that is probably 4th at best in the conference playing a 10-2 Oklahoma team that won the big 12 and made the playoffs last year.

Certainly they have nothing to be ashamed of with 2 SEC titles and a 2 championship game appearances in 4 years(2010-2013) and that came a decade after they had an unbeaten year. They were winning a national title while Dereck Dooley was at UT. Not a fair comparison.

I saw a a lot of change right here in Columbia. When i moved here in 97 it was an orange town with UT fans showing their pride everywhere. One kid had painted his car vol orange! Now it seems like there are more Bama fans than UT fans. Lot's of fans from other SEC schools also. I regularly see Georgia, LSU and Auburn stickers on cars.
