49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick played on the same Senior Bowl team as Titans quarterback Jake Locker leading up to the 2011 NFL Draft.

Prior to the Super Bowl, Locker sang Kaepernick’s praises. Kaepernick also had some nice things to say when asked about Locker last week in New Orleans.

“He’s a hard worker, and he did a lot of things well,’’ Kaepernick said of Locker. “He tried to do everything he could to be ready for the NFL. He’s a cool guy. I think he’s a competitor, and has a good foundation. I think he’ll be just fine (in the NFL).’’

Kaepernick said he’s motivated by the fact he was the sixth quarterback taken in that draft class, however, behind Cam Newton, Locker, Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder and Andy Dalton.

“Any time someone says somebody else is better than you, it’s going to motivate you,’’ said Kaepernick, who was taken with the 36th overall pick (second round). “You pay attention to that, of course.”

Imagine how much that media day must be. A goofball from every NFL city asking every player there about their team.

Mr. Moss, could you describe your thoughts and feelings on Mike Golics career?

Follow up question, do you prefer headphones or stereo surround sound when listening to audio books?

Sounds like a generic "how the f**k would I know?" response.
