Anyone who says this is anything other than admirable is wrong. Sure, he was disappointing in 2013. Nothing will change that now. But it's a credit to him that he played through a pretty serious injury. Doesn't mean he should be back on the Titans next year, but it should earn him a little more respect from fans at the very least.

Yeah lets just build us a team with a bunch of Lockers. That way it'll be ok if we lose as long as we have this great attitude.

I personally don't hate the guy, I just like the Titans better, and I don't think he is doing enough to warrant his salary and or to renew a contract with him. He is almost 30, with mediocre production and we are a rebuilding team/organization. Doesn't make sense. Cut the salary, let him go perform on a polished team while the Titans get their line fixed and a younger back for a fraction of the cost.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Stop holding onto the only "star" on the Titans already bro. This team has more holes than swiss cheese and your gonna sit there and act like this dude is worth 8+ million at 30 years old on a rebuilding team...Or like he is on the same level as a top 5 RB..

A meniscus tear is an "excuse" now? Wow. The dude played RB in the NFL on it for a full season and didn't tell anyone, doesn't sound to me like he was looking to make an excuse. It's only coming out because he needs surgery. This board labels everything an "excuse", only for guys they don't like though; for everyone else excuses are valid.

How is it an excuse? It didn't even get leaked out until he was to have surgery.

Because this will be the excuse moving forward now. Not saying he didn't rush for those yards, but it's just like lockers injury... And excuse to "give him one more shot"
