So Palmer went to the Cardinals.

Palmer wasn't that bad last year in fantasy. The thing that killed his value was turnovers. 19 turnovers and 23TDs, but the Raiders threw the ball like crazy because they lost all of their running backs, so he'd rack up lots of yards.

I went with him for a few weeks when I hit my bye and injuries.

Palmer to Fitzgerald. They have Mendenhall and Ryan Williams at RB.

It's gonna be a good year.

I think you might be seriously overrating Carson Palmer. Dude just isn't a very good quarterback anymore. Can still sling it and compile stats, but so many turnovers.

Good read, although I don't usually like Michael Silver.

I've watched more Raiders and Palmer games than I should have the last few years, but I basically agree with the analysis that Palmer is the reason they were competitive and without him they would have finished worse the last two years.

Maybe he sucks and this year I'll see it. I mean, the built in excuse of a shoddy O-line is there. Still, I think he puts up some good numbers, maybe not wins.

Would we be in the playoffs if we had signed Palmer?
