I was being sarcastic lol...Sorry if that was unclear, I was trying to defend the actual students, not student athletes.

This is becoming a Favre-esque coverage deal on ESPN.

I'm getting sick of this junk.

Cam Newton will be a bust in the NFL. It's not even up for debate. Someone will take his legs out or blow his knee out... not on purpose. He's just built awkwardly.

People compare him to Tebow, but Tebow is at least twice the man Newton is. Tebow is a more likeable guy, he's obviously smarter than Newton, and he's a hard worker. Tebow may not work out well in the NFL, but it wouldn't be because he doesn't give 100%. Newton will be horrible.

I love how the value of Cam Newton's headphones increase with every post. In reality his headphones cost $200-$300.

And no I personally wouldn't take booster money because in the end you'll probably get caught.

You might get caught but you'll be playing on Sundays by the time they catch you and you wont to pay a dime back.

Who cares if you get caught?

If the worst thing that happens is you vacate some wins? Who cares? Especially if you're a 'me' guy like most these athletes.

It's like taking the Heisman from Reggie. No one cares- he's still the Heisman winner. Nothing changed... he just lost a trophy that was in the west end of his mansion.

I think that he believed he was doing the right thing. He believes he should get paid to play. He's probably right, and one day that will likely change, but he's not right today. The key for him is can he look the otherway and be ok with that. It sounds like in his case the answer is yes. Bush could not. Bush is still trying to win that public back. So his mental health really depends on how much he cares. Most cheaters will crack very early on in the process, and will cry at some point. This kid seems to care less. And that may be an ok thing.

The thing is, if you don't play by societies rules, they will keep trying to crack you. And is most cases, they will break you into a crying little poney at night. The number one human need after food and water and shelter is not money, it's love. And that's why most football players play. They want the love. Is he willing to give that up that rush. Seems like it.
