There will be at least a small sampling of Titans fans at Mall of America Field on Sunday, thanks to the presence of defensive tackle Karl Klug. Klug is a native of Caledonia, Minn., which is located about two hours away from the Twin Cities. He said about three busloads of family and friends are coming to the game from Caledonia, which is known as the “Wild Turkey Capital of Minnesota” and also as “The Heart of Quilt Country.” Klug said not a single person asked him for a free ticket, not even his parents, Dan and Mary Klug-Silha, or his siblings — sister Kelsey and twin brother Kevin. “I would have paid for my parents and my siblings, but they just got them without saying anything,” he said. “I guess I lucked out.” Klug last played in Minnesota in 2010, when his Iowa Hawkeyes fell 27-24 to the University of Minnesota. It's about damn time Klug makes a big play. I'm disappointed with him this year - not that it's necessarily his fault, but I expected his name to be called more, considering he was our sack leader last year. I'm surprised he hasn't done anything yet.
