No, I knew there would be some opportunities for him to get yardage this season. What he can no longer do, that he's shown thus far, is break the long ones and take it to the house. That is the point I'm trying to make. We need big plays to make up for our lack of other offense. He did a good job yesterday, but I wish he still had the homerun ability.

This blind hater has 2 CJ jerseys. And like most sane Titans fans, I've lost hope in him.

Still missing my point. In general, a back is only going to be as good as their offensive line. I'm not denying that. And I should probably just leave this alone because if you haven't understood what I'm saying by now then you probably just aren't going to. But my point is this... when CJ himself says "I don't think any of the blame for the run game's struggles is on me". Then after a good game says "Like I’ve been saying all year, I’m going to be as good as my offensive line." He's basically passing responsibility for the bad games onto his line. Without acknowledging that he played a part in them as well.

All I (and many others) want out of CJ is a little maturity and accountability. I'm telling you guys, the hate thrown his way would be WAY less if he would grow up a little bit. Let's see:

    1. Hold out for "top playmaker" money.
    2. Have extremely disappointing season after getting "history deal".
    3. Call anyone criticizing you "fake fans".
    4. Talk about how you can run a sub 4.0 forty and (again) about how you can beat Usain Bolt.
    5. Have extremely disappointing first quarter to second season after getting "history deal".
    6. Argue with fans on Twitter like a child.
    7. Insist you aren't part of the problem (despite being a supposed "playmaker")

And I'm sure I'm missing a few things there. The guy is a PR nightmare and does himself no favors.

Or as TitansWillWin calls it, "blind hate". o_O

Ok then dont bash him when he gains 140 yards against one of the better defenses in the league. As many of you said you were pissed at looking for him to break the long ones and that he should just get what he can get. Which is exactly what he did yesterday and now you guys are bashing him for not being able to break a 80 yarder?!? Really? The big runs will come, this was his first chance at having one of those in a long long time. If you truly dont think he will break a run over 50 yrds for a td at least once this season then you are saying the line wont block for him long enough to get a chance. If he keeps getting holes like he did yesterday the big runs will come trust me!

The proof is in the pudding..

He WAS the worst starting RB in the league from weeks 1-3. No question about it.

He's showing some signs of life now. Good for everyone here.

Line did play was better we were pulling and driving people and one other thing we were not running out of the shotgun the majority of the game. It is harder to run the ball when most of the plays are draws out of the shotgun. Also i think CJ, got some confidence and hit the holes much better. That said we ran the ball as a team much better, but I think the scheme had alot to do with it. Now can we change the scheme on defense? If we stay with the cecil crap it is going to be historic how bad we are on D.
