No it wouldn't help, and yes, if you were out of shape, you would be more likely to suffer the injury. It's by no means always the case if you pull a hammy though.

I pray he doesn't get more than a 1 game suspension. We can get by the Jags without him. I can't say the same for week 2 against the Ravens.
Hamstrings are one of those things that never get to 100% once you injure it.

He sought professional medical advise and came up with a specific speed training/weght training/stretching/physio regime to overcome it.
Took a lot of work. Britt needs the same and to be game fit all year round if he's going to overcome it.
