With one game to go before final cuts are made, and my boredom and anxiousness paradoxically increasing, I thought I'd ask: which bubble player/s are you rooting for the most, and why, if you're so inclined? These guys I don't really think have a chance in hell to make the cut, but if there was a way to keep Chase Coffman, I would. Someone else will probably give him a shot due to his nice preseason. Why would I keep a 4th TE? I guess the short answer is I'm not totally sold on any of them. Don't get me wrong: thrilled with Walker...really hopes he builds on last season and beasts out. Stevens blocks well and gets open down the seam or by the sideline for an unlikely catch...about twice a year. Thompson may pseudo-break-out, or it could be a tease. If ONE of these guys gets hurt, it's a different story. OTOH, Coffman may be a preseason tease as well, and he's not broken out on the regular yet, but I really like what I've seen from him. I could arguably place him ahead of Mariani, Preston and Thompson. The other guy I'd like to see make it to the PS is Antonio Andrews. I just want to see more of him at some point, but that might not even happen. Fortunately, I've seen some very hungry bubble running backs this preseason. Who do you like?
