A buddy of mine just txted me about this. I would love to get him, but we would have to give up so much. And the price tag would rape us for several years.

A 1 and a 3 was too expensive for Michael Turner but I would think it might be conceivable any other year.. Too many contracts up after this season

yeah I know it sucks that we can't bring in a big receiver, we could always draft Nicks.

Since this article says it would take a #1 and a #3 to get him, that would be a great deal.

Since all you guys seem to think that we are drafting a WR with the #30 pick, would it not be better if we took a Pro-Bowler like Boldin.....A known quantity in his prime rather than a unknown with possible character issues? Think about it. An instant contributor, rather than a 2-3 year project?

It would make sense, especially since we have the cap room.

    1 & 3.....do it, do it, do it....do it

that would still give us a 2nd to use for CB to later replace Harper

Nicks is boldin but younger faster and without the knee and inj issues. Now if we could trade them #30 for boldin and that is it I am all over that.

Nicks also doesn't have any experience and hasn't proven anything on Sunday yet.

For #30 and #94, I pull the trigger on this one. Won't happen but I'd do it.

Boldin is definitely worth the expensive trade.
