The Titans have re-signed Rocky Boiman. They also signed Tyson Smith

With injuries at the linebacker spot, the Titans have turned to a familiar face.

The team on Tuesday signed linebacker Rocky Boiman, who played for the team from 2002-05. Boiman has also played with the Cowboys, Colts, Eagles and Chiefs during his career.

The Titans have also signed linebacker Tyson Smith.

To make room for those players, the Titans released quarterback Alex Mortensen and cornerback Jeremy Haynes.

The Titans finished Sunday's preseason contest with just five healthy linebackers as Stephen Tulloch, Colin Allred and Josh Stamer all sat out with injuries.

Well the thread is about the Titans re-signing Boiman. What would you prefer the headline be?

Geesh, you wasted time posting this. You must need some casino cash in a bad way! ;)

Well I'd rather have Boiman back instead of carrying a forth QB in Mortensen who will never equate to anything in Tennessee.

Seriously hurt or just missing practice for precautionary reasons?

I don't know about Allred and Stamer, but I really don't think Tulloch is hurt bad enough to keep from starting game 1.
