I like this draft, so much uncertainty.
Hey *******, you forgot RB!
I don't want another garbage RB like Harper, we should spend a fairly early pick on one (rounds 3 or 4)
It will turn out to be a good class, it's just I don't see many players graded with A+'s, just a ton of B's and C's who may someday turn into great players
Usually you have 10 or so players with 92-95 grades, this year not so much. Seems like only 3-4 guys are destined fro greatness, the rest gonna have to work some.
He's our 5th Rounder , plus a FA pickup.
We'll be able to land: Montee Ball, Stepfan Taylor, Christine Michael, LeVeon Bell, Mike Gillislee, Marcus Lattimore, Jawan Jamison, Kerwynn Williams, Ryan Graham, Rex Burkhead, Theo Riddick with our 5th pick.
We could also go out and sign Shonn Greene for cheap.
I don't think you draft by need in the top 10 outside of maybe a QB.
I think you should take the best player available no matter the position.
Werner is not a top 10 pick. He had 13? sacks this past season and half of those came in two games, one against Murray St. I watched a few videos on him and he just doesn't look all that special, definitely not a top 10 pick.
His measurables are average from the combine. He has okay speed but that won't do anything for you in the NFL.
I like Mingo at 10 if you are going defensive line. More upside.
You are nuts if you think all those RB's will last that long
Usually yes, but this draft isn't built that way
having a top 10 picks doesn't mean much as there's little difference top to bottom
Either way, even if you are drafting by need, I wouldn't touch Werner at 10. We already have a Derrick Morgan. Werner isn't even that good.
I'm now seeing why Charley Casserly is not managing a team right now
Devils advocate, what if Matt Barkley is there in the 3rd?
