He did, but someone like Hester would have taken that to the house.

His favorite movie is Transformers. Can't expect much.

He has been very disappointing this year in many ways. Anyone know when his contract ends? Isn't it after the 2012 season?

I suspect that will be his last season with us. He's clearly lost a lot of his leg strength and some of his accuracy.

BS. He's still regarded as one of the best kickers in the league and at this point... we would be stupid to let him go.

The wind was a huge factor on the kickoffs. Look at what quarters the big returns were on.

1st quarter for Steelers and 2nd Quarter for us. Both were being kicked into the wind and both fell just short of the reaching the endzone.

When it comes to special teams, we've got to be more of a physical presence. Our potential tacklers are getting rocked by blockers, when we get near the ball-carrier we're only arm tackling, our long-snapper is doing our punter any favors.

Although, I do approve of the gutsy call for the onside kick in the 3rd. Just wish we could've done something with it.

I mean, would it kill a player to botch another snap to Kearn so he can rush for like 30 yards, or something? We've gotta get someone going in our running game.

I was a kicker/punter in high school and college. He sucks at the beginning of games he needs to chance his warm ups because clearly he has the leg to kick it in the endzone.

As for the Pitts game I thing it had something to do with stadium but still a line drive down the middle is just bad.The pitts kicker also did it once to mariani so the stadium might have something to do with it.

Any time we lose a "Bironas sucks" thread always seems to show up, its inevitable. And someone also tends to bring up that he's lost strength or accuracy or some other load of crap.
