    Good riddance!

    Seahawks signed LB Barrett Ruud.

Ruud is one of the least effective inside linebackers in football, but he at least gives Seattle a veteran presence at the position after David Hawthorne got away.

I can't lie I wanted us to sign him last offseason and was happy with the pickup. But it looks like buc fans weren't just hating on him, he did suck.

Its not that he sucks , its just hes not a get after them type linebacker. Hes a coverage linebacker, hes a zone cover LB to be exact. If he isnt on a team with talent around him, he will get exposed. Tackling wise he lacks that intensity. He is always hurt and cant stay healthy either, just one of them kind of players. The T-Mac of linebackers. Seattle isnt a bad spot for him to go, and maybe he can get it going up there. IF HE STAYS healthy.

According to Colin McCarthy, Barrett Ruud got him up to NFL speed, so for that, thanks Barrett, good luck in Seattle.

None of us really saw Barrett as a long term solution, so there's really no reason to hate the guy.

Tmac of lbs? Tmac was a great player who was injury prone. He never had talent around him until he went to Houston but then both him and y.Ming were hit with the injury bug. B.rude is a borderline NFL starting lb....talent around him doesn't matter because he'll never stand out even on a sorry team.

I was refering to Tmac because people remember him mroe for him always being injured then good. Same with bob Sanders. You KNOW he can play but hes never healthy so he is remembered for being injured all the time instead of being a good player.

Lets pray this isn't the case with Kenny Britt. He'd be a guy to compare to Tracy McGrady so far. He looks so unbelievable at times, I'd hate to think about what could have been. I hope he goes out there day-1 and lights it up!

Bob Sanders was amazing when he played. Too bad for him his body wasn't made of carbon fiber or Titanium. That guy could lay the wood and leave you seeing stars.
