He wasn't looking at more than a half dozen snaps anyway.

He's our best, most consistent player on offense.

I agree. I would prefer they hold him back just to make sure. I've had a couple of guys ignore my orders, remove the sutures themselves, and go do some manual labor. Then their back in my office with an open wound. Knuckle Heads.

Its gonna be an interesting 5 years at least watching this all play out

 

Of Mary doesn't get injured Mett will never get a chance and be gone in three years to try to get a starting job somewhere else. He's only on contract here until 2017.

Judging by Mariota's ability to not turn the ball over I doubt he gets benched. Maybe I just have premature false confidence in him though.
