All those kids are probably on facebook :(
I need a Macbook.
It's all good, "I'm a new soul, I came to this strange world...la, la, la, la..." almost got me too. It happens to the best of us.
I'd do her... do her... wouldn't do her.... Who hasn't done her... Lose the pigtails and we'll talk...
Let me know when this is you
I'm 34 and started using Macs when I was 10. I was always the weird kid who didn't have an IBM, or Gateway, or Dell. 20 years later, Apple's marketing takes off and it's cool to use a Mac. Where do I fit in?
I feel like a fan of a band who had paid their dues for a decade and then all the sudden they're cutting duets with Miley Cyrus and making money hand over fist. I'm not gonna hate on Apple for being successful and I still love their products, but I kinda wish that no one else had ever heard of them so I could hang on to that feeling of knowing something fantastic that no one else knows. I don't want 13 year olds thinking I'm normal for owning a Mac. I want to be the weird dude that enlightens a few on the joys of Mac ownership. I feel like something special has been taken from me by making it common.
Don't worry. The Mac trend will phase out about as quick as it happened eventually.
They'll become too popular and then people will do the exact same thing again for the same reason: Because another product is hyped and they think they're on to something new by switching. They'll fake the love for it the same... and the cycle continues.
Outside of marketing, I really fail to see the difference between mac or anything else. They make a cute/fun product. I'm having fun with it- but as far as performance, this is no better than my Toshiba I bought for 600.
I've had my Toshiba for 3 years now... got it for $600 too.
It was great then... but there's so many better options at this point. Tired of it.
Whatever suits your needs.. EVERYTHING will be phased out..
