I just found this interesting when I got on the website that the Titans have had or is scheduling visits with Michael Floyd, Kendall Wright, Stephen Hill, Alshon Jeffery. It's one thing to look at one player or two for a smokescreen but four receivers and all high end guys too that will be drafted in the first or second. What are your guys opinions and who would you want if the Titans do draft a receiver early doesn't have to be one listed either.
I'm just entertaining the idea, it gives us something different to talk about than the same prospects.....
Here's why we meet with those guys. Cause 2 or 3 of them could be playing in the AFC South. It happens all the time, when you know you're going to be seeing a guy twice a year for 4+ years, you try and learn all you can about them. Jaguars need a WR, and so do the Texans.
WRs that have visited: Kendall Wright, Alshon Jeffery, Stephen Hill, Michael Floyd. DLs that have visited: Michael Brockers, Fletcher Cox, Josh Chapman, Tim Fugger, Ernest Owusu. DBs that have visited: Chris Greenwood, Casey Heyward, Dre Kirkpatrick, Sean Richardson, Stephon Gilmore, Mark Barron. G/Cs: Gino Gradkowski, Peter Konz LBs: Zach Brown, Bruce Irvin. Sources were a combination of Twitter and PFT.com.
I'd take Floyd @ #20 if he was there and DeCastro/Perry/Brockers are all gone. I don't get the hype on Wright. Jeffrey and Hill would be solid picks in the 3rd but I bet someone will take them sooner than that. I'm all for adding another high quality WR but after Blackmon and Floyd I don't see any worth higher than a 3rd round pick.
I'm not sure how many are allowed, but I do know that the Vandy visits don't count towards that number because they're within a certain mileage of Nashville.
You guys are not getting this post, its just entertaining the idea of us drafting an early receiver instead of us talking about the same defensive end, the same cornerback.
