Anyone have an Appendectomy? Looks like I could need one. How long can I expect to be on the shelf for?
A lot depends on your age, general health and whether or not they get it before it ruptures. Years ago, you spent a day or two in the hospital for it. Now, they might send you home the same day.
That is good news. Mine has not ruptured. It is slowly starting to give me problems. Do not want to be off work too much. And have to go to Washington State for 2 weeks at the end of the month.
dangers are always there, especially when you remove your appendix with a dirty spoon, and sew the wound back together with dental floss.. believe me. especially when you accidentally leave the spoon in there.
