    10-6 = 60% shot of playoffs.
    9-7 = >1% shot of making playoffs.

I can't stand seeing the Titans lose, but at this point, are we playing for draft picks? Its 2010 time in my book. The 2000 yard record for CJ is irrelevant. Vince and CJ need to save their legs for next season. Fisher's stubbornness is the reason this season has been a waste.

CJ hasnt gotten as many carries his first 2 seasons (projected) than Eddie did in his rookie/sophomore years.

Im sure we'll have a new back next year getting 25%-40% of the carries besides CJ (Ringer?) just to not run him into the ground. The only thing Im worried about are those constant hits he's taking.

ACL.Knee related injuries is worst case scenario. That's a year of rehab and propping your legs up and no running. Would you want an offseason to recover or an offseason of healthy training? My main concern is.. if an injury did occur, could that injury change the game for VY or CJ. That's why I think this 2000+ yard record is irrelevant and terrible thing to play for.
    1 people high five this.

I agree with this, I dont want the record-chase to be pursued if its responsible for an injury (if only we could see into the future).

The reason I want it because CJ is so close and he knows it, and this season has been a wash if we dont make the playoffs. The odds of seeing this performance again is slim, but then again CJ is a freak.

If we win out then we have a real shot. Just the fact that that is so is a Music City Miracle of sorts given how the year started.

Okay TitansErick I see where you were going with that original post, but come on 2000 yards is big. Why not play for 2000 or more when the playoffs are a long shot? Your absolutely right that their careers are more important than these accomplishments in 2009, but this is what Tennessee needs. C.J. could become the biggest super star in all of football, and he's ours! What Titan has been this good? McNair was something but he was not C.J., same for Eddie, and anyone you could name. We have THE best offensive player in the entire league. Let the man get his goals.

I personally don't care about that, CJ might, but I don't. I'm not a big fisher fan, but I do like his philosophy of staying under the radar.

Too early people. We need a lot of help. It's time to rule out the West. San Diego and Denver will be in the playoffs. Just focus on winning out, and surpassing NYJ (likely), Miami (likely), Pittsburgh (looks more likely every week), Baltimore (weak schedule, a threat), Jacksonville (depending on tiebreaker, we may only need 2 more losses for them) and Houston :)grrhee:) of course.

A lot of obstacles, just worry about the Titans and hope we can get the break we didn't get in 2006.
