Figure out how many championships San Antonio has over the last 10 years.
Your obviously one of those fans that likes games played on paper. I'd watch the games before arguing the Lakers aren't the best team out there.
And you're obviously one of those fans that cover their eyes every time they're proven wrong about some weak excuse they gave for their favorite player.
You said their cast was bad. ALL numbers say they aren't.
You said they don't play defense. You're wrong. Again.
You said they turn the ball over and it's the little things. You were wrong again.
Admit it. They were a great team top to bottom, but Queen James fell short...like he will for his entire career until someone else wins games for him.
If anyone's wrong its you and your confused self. I have no clue where you get your bad info about me (you have no idea who I am), because the Cavs are good win or lose. Okay, now if you want to talk to yourself stay in the closet, your wasting your time going back and forth on this.
In the Cavs last game LeBron was 2/8 from the 3. That's inexcusable. He can't hit the 3 and he takes too many.
Now, put up those same statistical categories, but this time use the conference final numbers.
I did it for him using the Lakers starting 5 minus Kobe, and the Cavs starting 5 minus LeBron.
Total: 44.6 ppg
Michael Jordan 3 pg FG in playoffs was horrendous too. He hit less than 19% in all of 1997 playoffs. career at 33%. Takes about 3 shots per game.
Kobe Bryant, even worse. Kobe took more shots too. In 08 he took 106 threes at a 30% clip. His career, just 32%. Takes about 4 per game.
Lebron is a career 30% shooter in the playoffs. And he never had the short 3 point line to benefit from like Kobe and Jordan. Everyone is critical of his 3 pointers this year, but he shot 33%. Takes about 5 per game.
He's improving every year and is no worse than Kobe or Jordan in the playoffs. I don't see a difference. And so how is he a worse shooter? Again, 51% FG and 33% 3FG. I just don't get the argument at all that he is shooting bricks, from anywhere, at any time. It's all perception. The reality is that he is shooting at the same clip as Kobe and Michael. He's scoring more. He's assisting more. He's rebounding more. I'm considering taking a peek at how he compares to Bird.
ok. I did it. He's right on Bird's heals too. Larry was just a 32% shooter from 3pt career playoffs. And he's right on his heels for FG% too. Bird was 47%. Bird only surpassed 50% FG 3 times in the playoffs. Lebron already did it once. Lebron is the near equivalent of Bird, Kobe, and Jordan when it comes to shooting in the playoffs. And this year, he beats all their career averages.
Is that your last attempt? lol What after that? "well... uh um...well...put up the conference finals 4th quarter numbers!!!"
The point has been made. He had a great team during the season. He had a great team during the playoffs. Stop REACHING for excuses.
