Collins would have tanked it faster than a glass of Tanqueray. Did you see him twitching to get it in when Young went down? He had that "Looks like I'm going to have to go in and win this thing" look on his face. Worst moment of the game. Thank goodness Young returned.

By the way, even Lamont Thompson had a big game. Arguable he preserved the win. Actually he did. That pass defended was his best, most important play, perhaps ever, certainly in the last two years. Pacman actually wasn't yelling at him this game.

VY did exactly what was needed of a rookie QB in a game with a solid running game and solid defensive play.

  5. VY was the "it" that won that game. 5 1st half drives and 3 led to pts. VY hit on a 4th and 2 for a 23 yd completion. VY is clutch!!!!!

all will be on board in due time. the other teams know and respect him more than some titan fans.

collins didn't do squat, albeit, he was thrown in. that other fresno st. guy didn't impress in the preseason either.

VY is the future, the runs you see by michael vick are a result of their coaching staff talking to Texas and how to use this type of athlete.

it will happen, he at least helped in getting the W.

I believe Vince will be well grounded after the bye

he's been calm and poised and has done well leading so far

he'll be special once he gets the timing and the nuances down

Vince had a McNair-esque kind of day today

while it wasn't always pretty or league leading - it was effective

    Vince Young - 13/25, 162 yds., 1 TD

    Hmm........25-7=18 and 18<22

    Once again math prevails.

Young did make a heck of a throw on the touchdown pass. It was the kind of throw Collins hasn't made in years. (Because it went to a guy in the same color jersey lol)
