Ugh. God no. I hope our coaching staff was way smarter than that and was planning on Locker regardless of where Scam Newton fell.

People are trying to claim how smart Luck is, these guys don't have to build a rocket ship or solve cancer, they have to learn an NFL playbook which doesn't take great intelligence, only desire and motivation which Locker and Luck both have. All in all from what I've seen of luck he doesn't have a great arm and doesn't run well enough to be able to do it consistently on the NFL level. He will be good but definitely doesn't have as high of a ceiling as Locker

I am confused by this insane response. You say Scam Newton will be better than what our coaching staff will do with Locker (or, as you eloquently put it, "with do with locker"). However, if Scam were to have been drafted by the Titans, wouldn't he have the same coaching as Locker will have, so... why would he be better if Locker's flaw is our coaching staff?

He'll be miles better than Matt Ryan.

The Falcons would get Luck and dump Ryan in a heartbeat if they could.

Luck will be a top 10 QB eventually (which Matt Ryan is not)... the question is will he ever be top 5? He certainly is capable.
