Titans: According to Football Outsiders on Run Blocking:
    ’08: 15th
    ’09: 22nd
    ’10: 31st
    ’11: 32nd
This is a bad trend. Positive being we can’t really get any worse.

In 2009, CJ may very well have played the game at a level that no RB ever has, but I'd say the line was a little better than 22nd best in run blocking that season.

I want to know what the criteria is for these offensive line stats. Because to me they look like 100% bullshit. How do they grade them?

By whether they play great, well, poorly, or get completely dominated in every way, shape, and form. The Titans would fall into the last category over the last 3 seasons. 2009 ranking seems strange though as I eluded to in my last post.

thats not really what I meant by criteria, as any position can fall under those descriptions. I want to know how they rate them.

The only thing I can hope on the defensive side of the ball is that Marks can make a difference. He was solid in pre-season and I'm hoping he can make a difference in live action. Also, Casey played injured last week which could've impacted his performance.

We'll get a chance to see the difference this week. We may be ok if both guys are healthy. And the ball was usually out against the Pats before any stunts or blitzes would be effective.

As far as the offensive line goes I think we just need to completely switch to a pass 1st team this season. Jake showed me enough last week to give me faith he can move the chains with his arm. He was keeping up with one of the best last week and nearly had better stats despite not finishing the game. Mainly use CJ on draws, screens, and options.

I'd have to say I'm more concerned about our O-Line.
