The fact he even mentioned 'blame' shows where his intentions are.
I just find it funny that he equates taking a paycut with "taking ALL the blame". The FO, nor the media, nor even the fans have tried to put 100% of the run games problems on CJ. I think it speaks volumes that that's where his head automatically went at the first mention of a paycut. I just don't get why accepting ANY responsibility whatsoever is such a grave sin in CJ Land. If he could do that he would be MUCH more respected by fans and he'd be much more likely to still be wearing a Titan jersey.
Oh well. Good luck in New York CJ lol.
I agree. Not sure why he equated the two. Taking a pay cut wasn't about "putting all the blame on him" it was about bringing his salary down to be more in line with other players at his position with similar production. It was business. As an organization the Titans never explicitly put the blame on him the anything. The fans maybe, but he wasn't going to be negotiating with the fans. Taking some of the blame even when you don't feel you did anything wrong really sucks but as a man you learn sometimes you have to swallow your pride. As a married man you always gotta swallow your pride lol.
Getting the blame from fans (whether deserved or not) is, really, a QB'S life...
Exactly. I'm really starting to think that deep down CJ is an extremely insecure person. And refusing responsibility is some kind of defense mechanism or something. It just makes no sense why a grown man would be SO adamant about not accepting any blame whatsoever. Unless he's literally delusional.
He spontaneously shakes, of course he's insecure!
Delusional and tings like dat.
Top 14 games of upcoming 2014 season (according to somebody)
#14 is Jets at Titans because of CJ.
I wonder if it will be intriguing enough to be a Thursday night matchup or maybe even Monday/Sunday night (really doubt it but hey).
Guess we will find out tonight when the schedule is released.
Can't see it being a SNF/MNF game. Thursday, maybe.
I think now that there are 3 prime time games a week it is required that every team get at least one prime time game. This one is probably as good as any for the Titans.
