If you ever get the money and the opportunity, taking a cruise alongside Alaska is one the nicest most amazing experiences of my life. I highly recommend. We rode helicopters out to a glacier (after stopping at one of the ports of course). Also went deep sea fishing and had the fish we caught freezed and mailed home to eat.

I went there my senior year of high school for a three week kayaking and backpacking trip. Such a beautiful place.

In July 2010 I will be going to backpack the Chilkoot Trail. I will be flying into Edmonton and driving across the western part of Canada to get to Skagway, Alaska. The trail starts there and ends in the northern section of British Columbia. We will be taking the old train back to Skagway.
