Says the report is from John Glennon on Twitter ... no clue who the heck that is but it's "good to hear" for what its worth ... since I remember John Gruden on Draft Day "liked" every single player drafted EXCEPT for Akeem Ayers, during his live breakdowns ... :gag:

I dont know what "terror" could mean in only a few practices but encouraging somewhat knowing that tulloch is gone and how our 2nd round picks NEVER work out ... hoping for the best

Some of the posters weren't too high on him either. That's why you have to save judgement until they hit the field. We'll see if he continues to play at this level and who knows could be a starter.

McRath sux without the roids. I'm glad to see Ayers get a shot. McRath hasn't shown anything since getting busted.

Hope he impresses when we start preseason...

we heard this about Jason Jones also, but he is off and on.

I'm loving this guy! He gets to the ball and plays very hard, but he's also a smart player. He's a perfect fit for our defensive front.

I'd like to see the UCLA combo of Ayers and Verner become solidified starters on this team. I like both of them from what I've seen/read so far.
