I'm glad the Texans have upgraded their line but until I see results against the Titans then I'm not sold on the idea. My feelings are like the feelings of other fans thinking VY isn't a good QB.

So those stats (i.e. sack total improvements) and that link of O-line rankings are not results????

And I am a lifelong Horn fan.... I watched him very closely transition from High School to the College level. I absolutely predicted and told everyone before the draft it was going to take VY at least 3 years to adapt to the NFL. At least... he just plain and simple isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer. Its one of the reasons I wasnt so against us not drafting him. But I do think (unless he hits some mental ceiling) he will eventually get it... and should be a good QB for a long time.

    Its ok to be objective.

Oh, so your comments on how the Texans O-line hasn't changed in years was only regarding its play against the Titans? Nice tunnel vision. This thread is about the O-line overall rankings... not O-line rankings against the Titans D.

no no no. I was talking about your OL stats. How I didn't really understand them since they haven't played like that against the Titans. I'm pretty sure I know what the thread is about. Oh wait, 0 votes for the Texans, do you know what this thread is about?

I really don't want to argue with you again Texxan. So to make my final point. I can't comment on the Texans till I actually see them playing productively. The franchise has been at the bottom of the division since the Texans were created(or whatever) into the NFL. You can bring out all the stats but they don't mean anything until they win. The poll is who has the best OL, talking about the future of an OL is pointless. Especially when the team has never been .500 or better.

Uhh... all I did was make a simple comment earlier. You brought out some smart comment about how the O-line hasnt changed in years...and later how you just are not sold on the idea about a better line in Houston. I was merely educating you on that.

All I was wanting was to understand is how you ignore what is right there in front of you? I mean....how does what I have brought to this discussion not show changes or improvement overall? Oh yeah, you say you can only make judgments on other teams from what you have seen against your Top 5 Titans defense and nothing else? Or at least you dont understand it? Ah, good logic. Let me ask you a question: If the Texans O-line comes out next year against you guys for the 2 games and becomes a complete machine in the running game and gives perfect protection.... but every other game they set records for suckiness... does that then me the Texans have a good O-line??? Of course not... and you know that. So not sure what you dont understand.. and how your Top 5 D may make things more difficult when using a small sample size vs. overall play on average for the entire year. If you say you cant make comments yet then dont. (like the one that started this conversation). Otherwise, I wont try to learn you on the reality of what is actually happening with trends, changes, additions, etc vs. what your perception is.

If the OL can't stay consistant then how are they good? I said I can't make comments on the Texans since your team plays like $%# all the time. Don't care who your coaches or future players are bring out the stats because at the end of the day the Texans are still losers.
