Now that the Texans have Wade Phillips as DC, they will prob be converted to a 3-4 defense which VY really struggles with. Wade took the Chargers from 29th to 1st in Sacks when he was their DC in 2004-2006. With the AFS South getting better it would pay to go ahead and get a top notch QB.

    3-3 at worst.

See I can randomly throw out numbers with no bases what so ever seeing as the off-season hasn't even started.

3-3 makes absolutely no sense though.

Hope you don't go into next season with those expectations. I'm expecting a 3-13 or 4-12 year.

Jeff Fisher will make us miss Vince Young.

No basis for negativity until we see what happens in the off-season.

If Matt Ryan can take a 4-12 Falcons team to the playoffs in his rookie season, we can have hope too.

I think it will take some time for the Texans to get the right personnel for the 3-4. Who's gonna play NT? What about Mario, convert him to OLB, tell him to gain 20 lbs and play the 2 gap? lots of questions

I have no expectations for the 2011 season as of now. Why? Because we haven't even seen what happens in the off season. We still have no idea what the roster, coaching staff, or quarterbacks.

For all we know we could bring in McNabb/Palmer and Albert Haynesworth. We could go into the draft and take Patric Peterson and Bruce Carter in rounds 1 and 2 of the draft. Would you still have those 2-14 expectations?

I'm not saying it will happen but it could. There is no point in predicting anything before we even have had a chance to make any form of roster moves.
