I thought he deserved his own thread. I was impressed by some of the things he did in preseason. He got some late playing time today. I'm guessing Gray was tired of seeing our defense get drug around by Spiller and Jackson, so he put a hammer out there. He got to lay the wood a couple times. Any thoughts on this guy? He started 13 games for the Bears in '09, but I still don't know much about him.

He hits hard. he doesn't wrap up very well though. Then again, does anyone on our defense wrap up well?

He needs to tutor everyone else on how to hit hard and tackle. He looked good out there i wouldnt mind seeing him play more.

Bears fans hated him. How many times have you heard of a rookie starting 13 games, then getting cut?

He made a good hit today. The other hit, didn't do anything for us.

It almost seemed like we had a legit SS out there again... It's been too long since we have had one. I'm not saying he's good. I really don't know. He hasn't had much playing time. I know I would like to see him get more playing time, if only a little more. Spiller seemed lethargic after getting the wind knocked out of him. It's been a while since we had a player that could do that.

Not very often, but players do grow... Remember Albert Haynesworth? Tony Brown?

I guess what I want to know is why they hated him.

I guess he couldn't do any worse than Babs and Robert Johnson.

The Bears have always sort have been my "NFC" team. He couldn't cover, at all. He doesn't wrap up. He would miss routine tackles trying to make DVD hits.

He is the guy that put Locker on a stretcher in college.
