You made it a racial issue which i suppose might be what AP is driving at. Black players underpaid by white owners.

    It's dumb.

If it is so easy why don't AP, genius that he is just go buy up a team then. Bud Adams invested in oil which was risky and he started a franchise in a brand new league which was risky. Nobody gave him a Billion dollar franchise.

AP used the word slavery. well hell i would prefer living a normal American life to slavery so why don't he quit football and do that?

There was nothing risky about investing in Texas Oil Fields in the 50s and 60s.

Not sure if this was in response to my comments, but in case it is.....

I have no problem with what AP, or other players make. As I said in a previous post I view this as a fair market exchange of value (lots of $$ for a very short/hazardous career). My issue with AP's comment was that he was implying that he is underpaid by using the analogy that he did. Again, I did not consult a stat sheet, but I am guessing that he is the highest paid RB in the league. I am not sure where the logic driving his claim of being underpaid is coming from.

High-five for this portion of your post.

Bottom line, Adrian Peterson's comments belittle what slavery was all about. Might as well compare themselves to holocaust victims while they are at it.

I'd like to think at APs age, I wouldn't make such a stupid statement with the knowledge it would be a public statement.

Umm defiantly not. I'd take being a slave over going through the Holocaust any day. Slaves got fed so they could keep working, those innocent jews, oh God don't even get me started.
