Kerry Collins? We were 12-3 in the games collins started and played the whole game in 2008.

No titan player has ever won that award. Keep making crap up.

    Denard Walker and andre dyson?

How can anyone win an argument when you argue with a statement that is totally and absolutely factual?

When jeff fisher has the talent he wins. He is not a great coach in adversity he has never taken a team with 8-8 talent and won 11 games and and never will. But give him a team that has 13-3 talent and he wins 13 games.

What kind of idiot would argue with that?

We saw it this year! When finny and fuller were healthy with VY at QB we won 80% of our games!

Now what happens when you get there? I don't think losing a playoff game to the 2000 ravens or the 2003 patriots is something to be ashamed of. It's frustrating because we could have won those games. Both those teams won it all.

You could argue that 3X the titans were the second best team in the whole league. 99 certainly, 2000 and 2003.

Sorry for looking at the big picture instead of dwelling on how we should have started our journeyman CB who was cut by somebody else playing over our over the hill guy. Or b&tching that donnie nickey beat out tuff harris for the bench safety job. These things mean little.

Fisher said this was the best team he's ever had. How come he only wins 8 games with the best team he's ever had, but he can win 13 games with 13 win talent?

Because this was not the best team he ever had and that analysis is silly.

We had players who contributed last year who got old. Is kerry collins an elite QB?

What about injuries? The loss of AH? We lose AH and then one of our top DTs misses half the season with injury.

Maybe he said that to make his team play with confidence but does it honestly matter?

When we had our best players on the field we went 8-2.

    Weak sauce pal.

Can anyone go beyond the superficial?

What bothers me most about this debate is that people can't get beyond one season when you have to judge a coach by many years.

Did the team and the coaching staff under perform this year? Yes! Absolutely!

And there were personnel decision made that hurt us this year that fisher no doubt was a part of.

We lost AH and signed jovan haye. Haye was never intended to replace AH but to help and he didn't. His forte is supposed to be rushing the passer and he didn't.

Harper-Kearse-KVB_Crumpler were older players who did little to help our team. Kearse was a $3.6M cap hit who accomplished nothing! $2.5M salary for 4 tackles!

The decision not to keep carr was huge since we had no reliable return game much of the year and it cost us a game.

Kerry Collins did not work out. Maybe that shouldn't be a shock based on his career performance and maybe fisher should have seen the growth in vince and made camp more competitive.

Maybe jeff fisher's grade for this year is no more than a D but last season was perhaps his best as a coach. You have to look at both.

Yeah it was silly. So why did Fisher say that? And then go crazy and where a Colt jersey wanting to feel like a winner? And bring in Collins to start the season with no work inside the system? And continue to play starters that shouldn't be playing?

    That's a short list.

I think Fisher was trying to light a fire under his teams when he put that manning jersey on and it worked. i'm curious what starters shouldnt have been playing and who should have been playing in there place??

So I don't know if this was brought up but Peter King reported if USC can't get the Oregon State head coach (which is a really boring hire but that's beside the point) that they would go after Jeff Fisher. Something interesting to pass along.

I agree 100% .the organazation as a whole made some mistakes this yr and fisher was a part of it(i'm sure fisher would tell you that as well) despite this seasons grade of a C- or D fisher should be judged for the 15 seasons he has been here and the overal grade for fisher would be a B. i know some people will disagree with Fishers overall grade but if you take the emotion out of it and look at the facts they speak for them selves.

Titans over the past 10yrs with NFL rank included:
10 yr record 104 wins 72 loses NFl rank #7
1 superbowl appearence nfl rank #3 tied
5 playoff appearences nfl rank #5 tied

    overal grade B
    1 people high five this.

No. Bad weather actually helps the offence.
i.e. - A WR knows the route he is going to run and the change in direction. The DB has to react and reacting on a bad field is when you go down.

Collins was 13-3 last year, had no rcvrs, and the ones he had dropped a ton of passes. Hey.... I'm all for VY, but the Collins bashing is ridiculous. Also...VY didi play well. The Arizona game was incredible...but he looked like total crap the last 2 games. I am a VY supporter, but I can at least admit that.
