I remember that game where Buddy threw a punch and Gilbride like it was yesterday.

Yaaa! Looked up at the tvs at the gym today and saw An Oiler uniform - figured it was just a quick clip - but once I found out it was a whole show dedicated to them, I got home and tivo'ed it right away.

That 93 era was a little before my time for me to remember it, but i bought a bunch of the vhs nfl films houston oiler preview seasons of the early 90s thru amazon, so it will be good to see some more.

I remember that season very clearly. We won 11 games in a row with buddy Ryan as the DC and Kevin gilbride as the OC. We ran the run and shoot with the 46 defense. We had home field throughout the playoffs and lost to joe Montana and the chiefs in the first game. Ryan went ballistic at gilbrides play calling and punched him. IMO the thing that hurt the oilers during those years was moons inability to deliver clutch performances when they mattered most. He would put up astronomical numbers in the reg season but not when it mattered most. Pastorini was the opposite thus moon is in the HOF yet Pastorini is still the most beloved qb in Houston history.

Believe it or not, moon performed so poorly in the clutch that to this day he never shows his face in Houston despite his HOF status.

Run N Shoot was never capable of protecting leads which sucked balls.

I actually miss the Run n Shoot a lot. We should bring it back to the NFL show these teams what old school is all about! This league is about offense anyways!

Especially in Buffalo. I've never been so happy and so mad in the same game...
