It's 42 yards because the ball would be lined up on the 25 yard line.

It kind of makes sense, but I hate all the changes Goodell is trying to enforce.

 

I like getting rid of it better.

 

I think we should change the name of the game.

Better than just totally eliminating it. I'd rather just keep it the way it is though.

 

I have said this before. The only change I would like to see in the game is one that was used in the pro bowl. Inside 2 minutes of each half, positive yardage must be gained or the clock stops. Forces 60 minutes of football. I would be all for that. Have always said the kneel down should be outlawed. lol

 

I miss real football...you know when you could hit the QB and cb's were allowed to cover receivers. Oh, well are there any hot female tennis players now....

 

I didn't watch the pro bowl, so basically a sack would result in a clock stoppage inside two minutes? That used to be the rule about ten years ago, then the league realized that a sack was partially penalizing the defense because the offense had time to regroup.

A sack, run for loss, kneel down stopped the clock. Let the offense regroup. Atleast they still have to play football. I would love to watch a game when the D has no timeouts, down by 3 and 2 minutes to go. Still a glimmer of life. And the offense still has to play to win. I am all for leaving the game alone. Just saying, if they wanna change the game, there are better alternatives than messing with the extra point.
