    We're definitely not special.

Our D is way too soft and we still have Jeff Fisher that'll never win the big game nor the games vs the Chargers.

I can understand last year's loss to the Chargers but this is getting ridiculous. The Chargers aren't that much better than us and to lose to Norv Turner is the kicker. Considering the talent and considering the results Turner has to be a top 5 or even 3 on the list of worst coaches in the NFL.

I just dont understand how we were shocked that Rivers would throw to Gates on 3rd down? Where did Cook go? Why did CJ drop the pass?zero pressure on rivers in the second half. Britt injury. Numerous broken tackles...

2 weeks is a long time.

Having said that, we have had a difficult 8 games, it all comes down to divisional games, with Clark and Collie out I fancy our chances to make the playoffs still!

umm we couldn't cover the Charger receivers who came from the practice squad..we can't cover anyone and Tulloch is got to be the slowest lb in the league and should not be in on passing downs.

We played a hell of a lot better than last year. I think our offense played pretty well.

Sometimes you get in a scorefest. Look at Buffalo-Ravens last week. I'm pretty sure they have a good defense. If CJ catches the ball there, who knows, maybe we luck out.

Gotta play better 3rd down defense though. How many 3 yard receptions turned into 15 yard gains?

Thank you for proving my point.

Regardless of the result of the Colts vs Texans we are one game behind one and tied with the other and we play them both TWICE.

AFC South is having one team go to the playoffs. Therefore this loss isn't meaning we are done. We win 3 of the 4 games against the Colts/Texans and we are in the playoffs.

Sorry my 'Australian' logic cannot get through your obviously superior American logic but that is how it is.

The problem is secondary can't stop anyone. Period. Cortland Finnegan is terrible. He absolutely sucks. I know he has the biggest fan club on these boards because he was a 7th round pick, good story, yada yada yada, but the bottom line is that he sucks in coverage. He's good at stopping the run but he can't even cover Patrick Crayton.

I'm very hesitant to agree with this but as much as I've seen him just allow 15-20 yard catches all year I'm starting to wonder what's going on with him.

The Denver game bothers me more. Coulda, shoulda, woulda ..... 6-2 instead of 5-3 with a team that is improving in the passing game. The only question .... will 10 wins be enough with so many loses to AFC teams?

Like clockwork, last week we were superbowl bound, this week we lost a game that apparently counted as 7 losses so were out of the playoffs...
