Usain's top speed when he ran the 9.58 was 27.45 mph. So pretty close to 28.

And some splits even say he hit 32 mph at one point.

In a 40 yard distance he covers it in about 4.50 seconds. Note: This is after the gun whereas the clock starts in CJ's run AFTER he begins.
Bolt's reaction time is usually about .18 seconds also. At the combine he'd probably run a 4.19 or so. Timed by hand he'd probably run a 4.10 or lower.

But it still doesnt matter. Put CJ in blocks and start him at the gun and he wouldn't run a 4.5. Probably closer to a 4.7.

Okay maybe I got the 26 mph confused with 28 mph if Bolt did hit 27 and change. All I know is this guy was a scientist and I tend to believe scientists. Someone look it up.

I think Bolt would run a 4.03 maybe 4.2 forty on turf.

Yeah? Well, a scientist once told me that Scotch didn't count as drinking. Yes, it was at a frat party, but he was DEFINITELY a scientist, he was dressed like one. So remember, scotch doesn't count as drinking, and people cannot run over 26 mph!

LOL yea scotch is drinking and people can obviously hit over 26mph. My bad for thinking it was 26 when the scientist said 28 (close numbers people). Find me someone who runs faster than 28mph, and I'll stop with this scientist.

Probably about 2 steps every 40-50 yards.

Back when they had that moronic superstars competition one of the events was a 100 yard dash(Not meters) and the 2 fastest guys ever were OJ simpson(Without sharp object) and tony dorsett. Their times were 9.7 and 9.5 respectively in tennis shoes on ashphalt! Damn fast! The fastest American sprinter back then ran about a 9.0 hundred yard dash.

Bob hayes set the 100 YARD record once at 9.2 in the 60s and was often called the word's fastest human. He would have to be the fastest nfl player ever.

    There. Fixed it for you.

I think it's hilarious people think it'd be close. CJ gets chased down by defenders in the nfl. Bolt can't be chased down by OLYMPIC SPRINTERS.

    think about it.
