The people who are butthurt are all the non-SEC teams. You guys would have nothing to be mad about if you weren't jelly of the SEC dominance. I'm not taking credit for those as a Vols fan, but I enjoy playing in the best conference against the best competition. It won't be long before Butch gets us a championship or two.

This is not a prediction but I could see UT winning the SEC East next season. They appear to be improving each week. We still have some weak spots to fill but it is still better to be a mid- range team in the SEC than a pretender in a puss- conference.

Vols will lose to many players in the trenches to be competiting for the SEC East title next year. They will have alot better talent coming in, but will be young. Butch is recruiting his arse off.

Come on, Wake Forest.. Please knock Miami out.

How in the world are Miami ranked #7? I have always knew they were highly over ranked, but Jesus these guys are terrible.

I never followed too much college football in the past, and I am starting to watch a little bit this year. Why does a player need to come off the field when their helmet gets knocked off? I saw that happen a few times today in a game and bridgewater had to come out. Doesn't make sense to me but nothing does when it comes to ncaa.

I think the NFL does that too.

I have seen a few of our players get their helmets knocked off and stay on the field. I am not 100% on that but I don't remember that being a rule in the NFL. The only rule I know where a player has to come off the field or burn a time out is if a player is injured within 200 mins of half
    The Hammer high fives this.

If the runner in the nfl loses their helmet, the play is blown dead at that spot as if the runner is down by contact but it says nothing to where the player cannot be on the field for the next down. I was just curious of why that is apparently a new rule in college football
