i was a huge fan of tully and was furious when we signed rudd but our whole draft so far has been pretty dang good from last year but i agree with the cj, amano, hope, and witherspoon....im lost on morgan as me personally dont think he will ever pan out but thats just me...as far as graham...hes our 3rd string te and provides depth which is what we need---cook is a solid te when givin the chance like when he set his records, let alone this whole year...rusty is 3rd string thats all...

So in other words let's just cut half of our team?

You just suggested cutting like a full quarter of the team....Honestly just because someone isn't great doesn't mean they don't have a place on the team. Depth is nice.

we can't just cut CJ, and no one's gonna trade for him and take his ludicrous salary. Our best course of action would be stick with him and try to enhance the line and maybe get a power back to compliment him and take some of the workload.

Why is Mouton on the "questionable" list?

He has proven his lack of worth about 1,000 times over.

The only guy we need to cut is Amano.

Expiring contracts will take care of the rest of the scrubs.

Mouton will get cut during the first wave of cuts next summer. EVERY DB on today's roster has outplayed that guy.

Obviously, I am not a Cook fan.
The list I posted was a list of people I think we could easily replace.
Someone mentioned that we would be cutting half our team. I never said to cut anyone. Just a list of players, in my opinion, that are not very productive.

You can't just dump half the roster, but what you can do is set a standard. Half our issues will go away by not re-signing certain guys like Griffin, Scott, and others.

Amano - I agree, he's shown that he can't play center. He was a good LG. No idea why Fisher let him PICK which role to play; especially when Harris played well in the play-off game.

Graham - Younger depth wouldn't hurt. I wouldn't resign him though

Hawkins - No. We can probably resign him on the cheap and he's proved himself this year that he is servicable depth.

Harris - Was a better centre, unless we get someone to replace him, keep him for depth.

Hayes - I reckon he'll be gone.

Hope - Doubt he gets re-signed.

Johnson - No. Just no.

Jones - No. He's a solid, fairly young player learning a new position. Why get rid of him?

Marks - If we find better, I'd not be upset to see him go. He slowly improved this year however.

Scott - We probably won't re-sign him.

Stevens - No way we get rid of him.

Witherspoon - I think we keep him unless he's a FA this year (not too sure), even if he is, I reckon we'll make a play to try and re-sign him.

Babs - No, he'll be kept to start/depth

Cook - He'll be staying. He's done well when he's been fed the ball. Needs to iron out mental errors though and look after the ball.

McRath - I think he's on his way out when he's a FA

Morgan - No. He's still recovering and he's been playing well the past few games. Give him time to heal.

Ruud - He's a goner.

Shaw - Good ST player. We won't get rid of him. He's a good leader and a billion times better than Nickey ever was.

Smith - Won't be re-signed. May not make the team if we draft a late QB

Mouton - All he has proved to us in his stay here is that he can't play at the pro level. He's gone.
