Perhaps you'd care to elaborate about what sucks with my picks...?

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 25: Vita Vea, DT, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 25: Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville (A)
Round 3 Pick 25: Holton Hill, CB, Texas (A)
Round 4 Pick 25: Tegray Scales, ILB, Indiana (D+)
Round 5 Pick 25: Fred Warner, OLB, Brigham Young (B)
Round 6 Pick 25: Tony Adams, OG, North Carolina State (B)
    Round 7 Pick 25: P. J. Hall, DT, Sam Houston State (A)

Other than Vea at 25, Lamar Jackson may have been my favorite pick in this mock. It surprises even me but the more I look at it the more I like it. A nice quarterback to build behind Mariota. If Mariota ends up leaving, Jackson’s a backup plan. If Mariota stays, the Titans have a good problem. Competition/depth/special teams at other positions. Holton Hill is a project taken somewhat early in my opinion but potentially fills a big need.

We won't be taking Jackson or any other qb in the first 2 rounds (and shouldn't til late if at all). The problem is...you are sitting a 2nd round draft pick AND we can't develop him because young qb's need snaps and he won't be getting them because Mariota needs them. Tom Brady can give up 30% of his snaps since he's been in the same offense for a long time and is a zillion year vet. Mariota is gonna have his mechanics rebuilt so he's gonna need all the reps he can get! And frankly, no guarantee Jackson is gonna be a QB in the NFL. I haven't looked at him closely but the feeling is he's 50/50 on whether he can make it. We are too far away to waste a 2nd round pick as a backup plan if Mariota doesn't workout and in the meantime is strictly a gadget player AT BEST! No thanks! I'll take a starter that's gonna play 90% of our snaps and improve one side of the ball!

Jackson seems like the easiest QB bust call since Manziel. The guy isn't even accurate for a college QB, let alone an NFL QB.

But..he could be for some team like Kordell Stewart, cause his speed and quickness are off the charts.

If he were smart, he'd learn to be a WR. Who could cover him?

But I wouldn't draft him..let someone else worry about it.

All fair points. It was an interesting thought though but your point on reps is accurate. I’m curious though, I think his problems are more fundemental than experience based. I think with his skillset, live reps aren’t as important as correcting mechanics and drilling them. Regardless, he’s an interesting weapon.

    Anyway, how’s this:

Round 1 Pick 25: Vita Vea, DT, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 10 (MIA): Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado (A)
Round 4 Pick 25: Tegray Scales, ILB, Indiana (D+)
Round 6 Pick 25: Fred Warner, OLB, Brigham Young (A)
    Round 7 Pick 25: P. J. Hall, DT, Sam Houston State (A)

This draft is coupled with the theoretical signing of Norwell in free agency.

Who says I need to 'gain' your approval when you can't even say in any specifics what you don't like about my picks?

    Post YOUR 'better' draft...
