    The plot.

    The main theme of Die hard is not xmas, its about defeating groups of terrorists.

    Xmas is in Die Hard 1 and 2, but theyre not movies about xmas.

    And if Im not mistaken doesnt one of the sequels feature the 4th of July?

    Dont let my categorization of Die Hard discourage anyone from enjoying the series during the holidays, I like Die Hard, I just dont make it a point to watch this time of year.
