Xmas movies

its that time of year, I’ve started watching all my favorite Xmas movies with plenty more to go. I’ll catch all the favorites like Xmas Story, Xmas Vacation, Grinch (probably both), my personal favorite Die Hard, etc.

Anyway, I started with the Home Alone series. By series I mean the only 2 that I’ll recognize and also the only 2 done by famed director John Hughes.

Both are excellent even though a lot of jokes are recycled. All that said, I think I like the second Home Alone better. I think Daniel Stern helps make it, almost specifically his high pitch scream While getting shocked and the half scoff he makes in response for “now why would anyone soak a rope in kerosene?”

No way I can argue Xmas vacation isnt among the best. Love that movie too.

I also said something to my wife about the Xmas radio station she listens to (it starts somewhere after Halloween ) and why this theme song is never played. Xmas music already has limited selection, why skip out on good ones?

 

I must need to watch jingle all the way again. Haven’t watched it years but you’re not the first person I’ve seen say this.

Bad Santa is funny, but I don’t put it that high on my Xmas movies list. Although I could watch just the insults to the kid all day. And, it’s a toastada.
