That's some pretty big markets they have ignored. And what good reason was there for them to do that?

I've asked 6 people which console they were going to get and it was split 3 to 3. The internet thing doesn't matter for most people but I have a feeling once they figure out just how serious this game restriction is then they'll change their minds.

There is still a long time to go, Xbox will flip this somehow unfortunately.

You haters buy what you want. My new x1 will be here 6 months. Now i see amazon preorders are sold out, glad i got mine.

Its 2013 i have the internet and a job. Dont need the poor mans ps4 so i can borrow and not have to buy the games i want.

Other than games I like technology. And x1 is built for people like me.

Simple gamers stick with your ps4, its just a stronger ps3. You should keep playing ps3.

Yeah the technology of watching netflix or tv through your console is groundbreaking.

When ps1 came out, it played audio cd's. That was a HUGE deal. That was innovation.

When ps2 came out, it played dvd's. Again, that was a big deal.

    Ps3... bluray. etc.

If you wanted an x1, good on you. Just don't pretend x1 is some kind of amazing innovation.

Real gamers will always stick to pc regardless.

    you fkin casuals. :troll:

Wrong. I have been an Xbox loyalist since Xbox1 (the first one). I only went out and bought PS2 for the Tekken series. I had the PS3 for about 2 months, then sold it. I still play 360 regularly.

Xbox just plain lost my business with this garbage. This is not biased hate. If PS4 decided to do this same thing, and Xbox didn't.. it would be the exact same thing. NOBODY.. at least no consumer, is a fan of this. But looking back, Microsoft (at least on the xbox) has always been about sucking their customers dry. Remember having to buy the Dongle to watch DVDs on the xbox? (when the System was ALREADY set up to play DVDs?) That is textbook Fing people in the A.

Lol.... Poor mans ps4 .... You sound like a child trying to make excuses for your completely blind fanboyism. That's crazy.

I'm just not going to get a next-gen console... unless after a few months pass, I hear amazing things about one or the other.

I don't play games enough to need anything else.

It's possible I'd even buy a PS3 for cheap and cancel Xbox Live since I really only use it for Netflix.

I have a feeling MSFT is going to earn some longterm ill will. Whoever said parents will buy their kids what they want is right... but once those parents realize they will not be able to buy used games and their friends won't be able to share games amongst themselves, I imagine that is not going to sit well.

And people remember. Hell I still won't use AT&T for something they pulled on a family member over 10 years ago, and it wouldn't matter if they could kill the competition in offerings and pricing, they will never get another dime from me or at least 2 other family members.
