WR Kendall Wright

I am confident in Williams. I think people are underestimating him, he came along nicely last season. I would expect Cook to start off like a machine and keep it that way though. He better do that anyway.

We are likely in the same boat we started in, maybe slightly better. Keep his knee healthy and he might just finish the season.

I would in no way want Wash and Williams as 1 & 2, but Wright was the best pick we could have made.

 

I liked the pick when we made it on grabbing another weapon for our QB's. So I am still in that same mind. I hope he transitions quickly and makes a lot of plays for us.

 

I wonder if the Browns would trade the Baylor WR they just got in the supp draft straight up for Britt right now...

 

That would be a dumb trade. A proven dominant receiver with off the field issues for an unproven receiver with off the field issues.

 

I saw WR as a huge need going into the draft this year. I was hoping they would go receiver, and I loved the KW pick.

 

It doesn't make me fell much better for this current season. I never expect rookie WR's to have huge impacts so I don't see Wright saving us this year from Britt's douchebagery. Now if you're talking going forward, say Britt gets cut and Wright uses this year as a great learning opportunity so he can be a starter and major contributor next season, then yes.
