Would You Trade a 2nd and Cyprien for Earl Thomas?

So basically a 2nd and ask Seattle to take cyprien off our hands?

A 2nd for Thomas would be alright with me. Salary cap would start getting closer to being used and would need some management to avoid the 04'-05' salary cap disasters, but it can be done.

Cyprien could leave for a ham sandwich.

I don't think so. I want to use the allowed cap but not have to totally dismantle the team because of mismanagement.

And in the 04-05 case, not only was the team dismantled, but the organization treated their franchise face like crap before kicking him off to go sign with what I feel were our rivals.

Edit: Ftr, yes. I'm saying if this is all Seattle is asking, absolutely do it. I'd even forgo the ham sandwich for cyprien.

 

How many years does Earl have left? He contemplated retirement after his last injury.

I'd love to have him on our team if he has another 4 years in him.
