The acquired Hope, drafted Lowry and Finnegan, who were both listed at FS, plus Fuller and add Thompson, that's 5 FSs on the roster. From a numbers perspective, it doesn't make sense. Anyone else think it was odd to load up so many FSs? I understand what they want -- speed and cover ability. But it's weird. Nickey is the only bona fide strong safety on the roster. Weird.

Finnegan will make a permanent move to CB eventually, Lowry would make a good SS, Fuller is a floater between S and CB, and Thompson is just here because he has blackmail on Fisher and Reese

He's our starting nickelback so I'm thinking he's already made the move.

Woolfolk is a regular fixture on ST now; assuming he does well there, he would HAVE to be a considerable upgrade over Nickey as safety depth.

  5. Can someone ask him again, please...

I agree. We need a change and it might as well be our former #1 pick.

    well...

Woolfolk DID play some CB in college...just not a lot.

He has elite CB physical skills...especially for a guy with his HEIGHT!

    He can tackle.

He CAN'T be worse than both Hill and Thompson. I think he should be given a shot at starting CB opposite Pac, but barring that, move him to Safety. LT isn't covering and isn't tackling. At worst, Woolfolk can make some tackles!

And I'm inclined to think he's faster to boot.
