I think that is probably a fair assesment, even though alot of teams think that way, and the only difference between pick 30 and pick 33 is that the second round has started.

Tax collecter the point was that precious few are worth a damn. And guys who played 2 snaps at QB don't count.

We are talking about a first rd pick and you come up with a list that includes brad smith? WTF is that? Some paul williams caliber guy?

Isiah Stanback is supposed to convince me of something? What?

I looked it up and boldin did not throw one pass at florida state. I looked at the team stats from 2000-2002.

I doubt if a single jags fan considers matt jones a good investment.

What about the dozens of athletic college QB who were unable to contribute at all as a RB or WR in the nfl? For every randall el there about 50 guys who do nothing.

Oh add WOODROW DANTZLER to your list of former QBs. He was a RB for a couple of years and had 21 career rushing yards. Don't want to leave him out.

Your research sucks then. It's not much, but more than "not a single pass".

2002 Florida State Seminole Passing Stats

Please, next time make sure you do your reaserch before you make any more moronic statements. Especially when the information is so easily avalable.

BTW, I dont ever remember stating that those in that list are worth a first round pick, that "list" was a response to player who have been sucessfull playing a different position or have played multiple positions in college. But heck, most of those player did have productive years in the NFL, would you like a list of 1st round washouts over the last several years? Realistically all first round picks are a gamble. Very few probably only 15-20% ever pan out or live up to the expectation placed on them. So lets see if we say 20% work out or even bump it up to %40 that means between 6 - 12 of the top 32 picks make it. Sounds like a gamble no matter what direction you go, and I think saying %40 live up to expectation is really inflated.

I've actually read that many teams are looking at White as a WR, not so much as a QB. Makes more sense, IMO.

Upon further review, quite a lot of us did. At least, we wanted the Titans to.
