no, but it was apparent against the rams that teams have different game plans for kerry and vince when it comes to the running game. with kerry, the offense got run blitz after run blitz. with vince we get a lot more four-man rushes and zone because he rip off a 44 yard run if you play man-to-man.

What happens if he misses the rushing record? He'll still get the rushing title for 2009, and tons of respect plus motivation to go at it again next year and all after. I hope he does it this year though.

I voted Yes, he will break Dickerson and Faulk's records. I see him having a really big game come Sunday and on Christmas day. And against Seattle he will cruise past the records.

People thinking he'll just run wild on Seattle because they're terrible need to watch the Rams game again.

We never exploit like we should.

Surprised people still think he can break Dickerson's this year. It's not gonna happen. You guys keep citing the rush defense ranks, but the same was done for the past couple of weeks and he didn't even threaten 150.

Won't happen this year, because the last two games killed his chances. He needed a couple 200 yarders going into the Seattle games. 500 yards in 3 games? I can't see it happening.

he did have 800 in november, but it is highly unlikely he can do it again in the last three games.

it can happen....if he plays like a beast these next 3 games. Although, I feel like I am getting greedy, as much as I would LOVE to see him break Dickerson's record...I would be just as happy to see him hit 2,000 yards rushing.

it would have helped if the titans did a fake Knee last week vs the Rams and let CJ run it for a TD. but they didnt.

and i dont see CJ getting 500 yards in 3 games. the record will remain from 1984

Until the playoffs arrive, he still has a shot at the record. 2000 will be a gimme almost, only needs 125 a game.

I certainly wouldn't say it's a gimmie. He hasn't gotten 125 in either of the last two games, and he's only gotten it in 7/13 games so far.

I think he'll get it, but it's certainly not something to take for granted.

The Faulk record is the one that he's most likely to break, the 2000 mark is next, and least likely is the overall rushing record.
