Why Is Nick Williams On The Roster?

He is a good GM but he is too stubborn. Lets start last year. Lost a game in Miami because our backup QB could not throw past 10 yards. That was a major issue going in with Mariota getting hurt so much.

This year we did not address tight end or wide out. We even gave Walker an extension (which he really does deserve it but he is 34-35). Drops Drops and more Drops. Buffalo is the first game it actually cost us though, should have been 2 because of last week.

Finally, he went into 2 games this year with Mariota who could not feel his hand (texans, jags) and he got caught in Jacksonville when Big Game Blaine went down. Now we have a tackle problem (Lewan's foot) and maybe there are no decent tackles out there who knows.

 

Cut Williams, either bring in DEZ or trade for one. Or Cut Williams, trade for a tight end who can catch. Good Luck JRob. Chances are he will do neither and we roll with Can't Catch Smith as TE and Nick Catchless Williams as WR. Jennings is another one who should be cut, but ill give him a pass because the moment was too big for him vs Eagles.

 

Well, let's see what Batson can do on returns and on the slot. I like his attitude.

I remember in the preseason when Deontay Burnett caught 10 passes on 10 targets one game. Surely he was a better option than Williams / Jennings...

Between Corey, Taywan, Tajae, Smith, and the RBs we shouldn't need to involve the bottom feeders of the roster

 

That's who I wanted to keep over Williams and Batson.
But many on here wanted Williams, why ? I have no idea.

Burnett is only on Jets practice squad, so we could sign him he we wanted.
We won't, we'll keep trotting Williams out there

 

Deontay Burnett needs to be signed from the Jets practice squad now. Knows the offense and is sure handed. The Tennessean had an article this morning about trading for one. Listed plenty of good WR: M. Sanu, B. LaFell, A. Cooper, S .Sharp, or P. Garcon. Something needs to happen. Cannot continue with what we have.

 

I'd rather sign Burnett tbh. Sanu isn't bad.

Not sure why we went with Williams? Hardly any receptions and hasn't done any returns since 2013
